My son Theo passed his test first time with Lovat as his driving instructor. He did all his driving with Lovat from very his first time in the driving seat to passing his test as there was no chance to practise with any family member etc. Theo found Lovat’s teaching methodical, clear and thorough as well as supportive. Most importantly he felt really well prepared and equipped for the world of driving, not just for the test itself. He was given a very wide range of driving experiences including a lesson that he specially requested of going up the loch side and through the glens.
I would definitely recommend Lovat to anyone looking for a driving instructor!

My daughter learned to drive with Lovat and has recently passed her test first time. Lovat is a patient and thorough instructor who will work at the pace of the learner and respond to their individual needs. She also covers all areas of driving including motorway experience, city driving and parking. I would recommend Lovat and X-cel Driving School.

I have been with various driving instructors and found that with the help of Lovat and her husband Mark I was able to vastly improve my confidence and able to gain my pass. As a learner you are always given the opportunity to stop and reflect on situations after they happen which I felt was very helpful and also reflect on a lesson as a whole in both a positive and constructive manner. Top quality teaching

Fabulous Driving School
